Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna has six rooms designed for people with reduced mobility. Standard class rooms are spacious and have a motorized bed and accessible toilet.

Accessible entrance to the hotel and restaurant

The staff elevator to the left of the main door provides access to every floor of the hotel. You can enter this way with a wheelchair, but you have to ring the doorbell on the left side of the main door. The reception staff will open the front door and the elevator for the customer.

Some of the customer lifts are too small for wheelchairs, but the staff can take the customer to the room floors with a larger staff lift. There is a fixed ramp to the hotel lobby, but we do not recommend using it with a wheelchair.

Accessible toilets are available in the restaurant on the 10th floor.
