Töölönlahti Promenade

The Töölönlahti Promenade is Helsinki's most popular walking route, and for good reason! You can start the tour from, for example, Helsinki Central Railway Station and head towards Kiasma and Töölönlahti. The total length of the route is about 4 kilometers, featuring well-known attractions, beautiful wooden villas, nature, and park landscapes. The route is mostly flat and easy to navigate.

Helsinki Central Library Oodi

Oodi is more than just a library: besides borrowing books, you can read magazines, enjoy breakfast or lunch, work remotely, watch a movie, study, hold a meeting, organize an event, have a glass of wine, create music, sew, print in 3D, read, and play with children or board games. Oodi has a collection of 100,000 works in almost 20 languages, including books, magazines, sheet music, movies, and games. Shopping: Sokos & Forum

In the same building as the Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is Sokos department store, opened in 1952. Its four floors offer a rich selection of fashion, cosmetics, and home goods. Hotel Vaakuna guests receive a 10% discount on purchases over 5 euros by showing the hotel key card at Sokos.
