Should we go outside?

The Paloisvuori area includes an extensive network of trekking and cross-country skiing routes, a frisbee golf course and exercise stairs. During the winter, a skiing centre offering ski hire and a café serves customers in the area.

Do you have a canine friend visiting Iisalmi with you? A dog path covered with rock dust (unlit), approximately three kilometres long there and back, takes you through the varying Paloisvuori landscape, ending at the Saunaniemi hut. Did you remember to pack something to barbecue?

If you are interested in golf, you can practise your putting on the Ahmo 9-hole golf course.

Or would you prefer some indoor activities?

In that case, you can head out to the bowling and sports centre Liike and have a friendly bowling competition, for example. If bowling isn't your thing, Liike also offers an excellent gym, renovated in 2022, as well as a sport simulator. You can try musical fencing in virtual reality, for example. Karhun Kellari, quite close to the hotel, is a sport-themed recreational facility. The services include Megazone, Simway Hunt and a driving simulator. Would you like to give them a try?
