Our hotel's Rosso restaurant has a play corner where children can practise cooking in a wonderful play kitchen. At Hesburger, you can find Toygroup's touch screen game that offers lots of fun. You can try it out when waiting for your food, for example.

Board games and children's books can be borrowed from the hotel reception to your hotel room.

The nearest playgrounds are within a short walking distance from the hotel. According to Kirsi, a member of our reception staff, her godson's absolute favourite is the Lion Park at the harbour.

No matter what the weather is like, at the bowling and sports centre Liike, rain will not spoil your plans and the sun will not scorch you! Liike's VR room allows you to dive into quite a different world in a virtual reality. Or would you prefer to try mini golf or different car circuits on a sports simulator?

The City of Iisalmi's Saukko indoor swimming pool was renovated in 2023. It offers a nearly spa-like experience with its different kinds of pools. Saukko includes a separate jacuzzi section, a multipurpose pool, a shallow pool for small children, a teaching pool for children, and pools for fitness swimming and diving. In Marjahaankierto, about three kilometres from the hotel, you can play padel from early in the morning to late in the evening. You can easily book a time through the Playtomic app.

How would you like to meet various animals, such as a llama or a donkey? These and other domestic animals can be seen and touched at the Hanhenlento farm yard. If you are interested in a nature excursion, you should check out the Paloisvuori area! The area includes an 18-hole disc golf course and comprehensive jogging trails with varying terrain. In the winter, the Paloski skiing centre with its small ski slope café serves downhill and cross-country skiers.
