The fantastic festival summer is coming again - music and vibes for every taste in Kokkola! Mustakari Memories in June and Kokkola Venetsialaiset in August. In Kokkola, the celebration starts with Mustakari Memories at the beginning of the holiday season, and towards the end of summer, Kokkoan Venetsialaiset take place.

Mustakari Memories 27.-28.6.2025, Kokkola

A festival by the sea! The Mustakari Island hosts Mustakari Memories, which has been part of Kokkola's summers for over 20 years. It gathers visitors to enjoy the maritime festival atmosphere and top artists. Above all, it's a summer event loved by both the city's residents and performers at the best location by the sea.

The festival area has an age limit of 18 years. Mustakari Memories will be hosted by Jaakko Saariluoma. DJ Welho stands for the entertainment between shows.

Children's festival Saturday 28th During daytime on Saturday, it's time for the kids. Rock and magic will take place on the scene when popular Hevisaurus and magician Tapio Salomaa perform. The children's day is free of charge. Welcome!

Venetsialaiset 29.-30.8.2025, Kokkola

The festival promises top artists and a great atmosphere in Kokkola's event park.

Over the years, Venetsialaiset has become the biggest annual public event during the summer in Central Ostrobothnia. The focus of the traditional festival has shifted from villa areas to the city, where concerts, sports events, and parades offer experiences.

We welcome all ages, the event has no age limit.

Friday, August 29th: Hooja (SWE), Benjamin, Sexmane, HUGO, Tuuli, Costee, Ege Zulu + more artists will be revealed.

Saturday, August 30th: Mirella, Averagekidluke, Shrty, VIIVI, Ani, Jaakko Kulta + more artists will be revealed.

We are also arranging a third festival in Ylivieska (80km from Kokkola), Sun Pampas - in the middle of August.

Sun Pampas 13.-14.6.2025, Ylivieska

The festival summer starts at Sun Pampas! The event, which has been praised for its cozy setting and functional arrangements, will take place indoors in Ylivieska's ice hall and its surroundings. Alongside KPO's event team, there is a large number of local companies and sports clubs involved. Sun Pampas has seen the best of Finnish pop and rock artists over the years, and the event also offers local bands a great opportunity to perform in front of a large audience. The event has a age limit of 18 years.
