Pets need a stress-free stay, as well as enough sleep and rest, even when traveling.

Here's how to prepare for your pet's holiday trip:

• Allow enough time for the trip so that the pet can walk in between.
• Bring your pet's own bed or blanket and, if necessary, a cup of water. In a new environment, the pet may get confused, and in that case the safest place for him may be his own basket, cage or bed. Reptiles, rodents and birds always live in their own travel terrarium/cage in the hotel.
• Own toy makes it easier for the pet to feel in a strange environment.
• Get to know the hotel environment together with your pet.
• Do not leave your pet alone in a hotel room for a long time. If you have to leave the pet alone in the room, make sure your friend can't escape from the room.
• Use the "pet in room" sign outside the hotel room door.
