The STF label is granted in recognition of valuable and long-term work for sustainable travel. To ensure continuous development, the label must be regularly renewed.

The goal of Visit Finland is to keep Finland an interesting, sustainable and attractive travel destination. According to Visit Finland, the best indicators of sustainability in travel industry services for travellers are e.g. water and energy efficiency, waste management, using local products and services, local employment, protecting the cultural heritage and taking the local population into account. Sustainable travel also takes into account the needs of current and future generations.

Puijonsarvi has long carried the Green Key certificate, so joining the STF programme in autumn 2023 has been a natural continuation of our work, and helps Puijonsarvi to further develop our responsibility comprehensively.
