Shopping and pampering yourself
Our hotel is located in IsoKristiina, a trendy shopping centre. You can easily walk in to the shopping centre from the hotel lobby – and you do not need to carry all shopping bags with you, as you can easily take them in your room between shops. If you are in need of some pampering, we warmly recommend beauty salon in Sokos.
Sauna and refreshment
The Lappee sauna section is like a small spa. We recommend that you reserve plenty of time for your bath. The large swimming pool refreshes even the most exhausted travellers and offers plenty of fun to children.
Culture and quality coffee
Those looking for culture will find the historical fortress of Lappeenranta a unique sight. The oldest orthodox church in Finland is located on a beautiful hill in the fortress area. Café Majurska and the Tyyki shop, which is located in the same facilities as the café, offer unique experiences with their cafeteria products and handicraft items. "Spinning house" restaurant Kehruuhuone serves fabulous lunch from Mon-Fri. For museum enthusiasts, Lappeenranta offers something for every day: the South Karelia Museum and the South Karelia Art Museum are open around the year, the South Karelian Lotta Svärd Museum which is open by prior arrangement.
You will find Paahtimo Lehmus Roastery, a café and a factory outlet right at the tip of the harbour at Satamatie 6. We recommend taking home with you some coffee named after one of the districts of Lappeenranta like "Pusupuisto" (kissing park).
