Illuminated Trails

The illuminated trails to Loma-Koli start right next to the hotel. You can see the current trail map and its maintenance here. Other area trails and multi-use routes can be easily found on the Koli tourism website.

Koli Ski Slopes

The magnificent and unique Koli ski slopes can be found right between Lake Pielinen and Ukko-Koli. On weekends and holidays, you can conveniently take the free Ski&Spa bus from our hotel.

Ukko Nature Center

The Ukko Nature Center is located in Upper Koli. They offer guaranteed departures for guided peak tours and the popular wool sock relaxation on Saturdays. You can also rent activity equipment and purchase souvenirs from the nature center. Be sure to check out the exhibitions at the nature center!

Lake Pielinen

Lake Pielinen offers great settings for various ice activities. You can go ice fishing, tour skating, test the ice track, and soon also the longest ice road in Europe.

Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä

• Distillery Tours and Tastings: Guaranteed departures every Saturday at 5 PM. The total price is €45/person, the tour alone is €20. No advance registration is required, but for larger groups, we recommend booking your own tour. Each tour can accommodate about 20 people.
• Polar Adventures: Offers guided route tours by pre-booking. Their store in Koli Kylä also has outdoor equipment for rent and purchase.
• Ortofysio Massage Koli-Koli: Located in our hotel. Massage services provide relief for both minor and major tension points. Read more and book your appointment in advance here.
• Restaurant Tervaskanto: Serves the hungry and thirsty as our hotel’s cozy restaurant. Check out our menu and opening hours through the link.
• Village Fireplace Room: Located on the 5th floor of the hotel, you can book it for private use for yourself and your group conveniently online. The fireplace room includes a private sauna and a hot tub on the balcony.
