Indoor activities

There is a small drawing corner for young children in the lobby of Metsä-Siiven. Onni the Squirrel and his helpers have also organized a fun photo scavenger hunt for all child visitors to explore the hotel building together. Metsä-Siiven's lobby also has a lot of board games that can be borrowed for use in the rooms or played in the lounges or restaurants. The selection of games is extensive, so everyone can find something they like. There are also more games in the reception lobby and in the fireplace lounge on the top floor. There is a cozy corner in the third floor of Metsä-Siipi for relaxing and reading. Teenagers especially enjoy this area!

Outdoor activities

There is plenty of space to play and have fun around Bomba. During winter, sleds and kicksleds are freely available to all hotel guests. The sledding hill is right next to the hotel. Ski trails also depart from the yard! In the summer, hotel guests can use the frisbee golf course and play many summer games. The nearest campfire site is located right in the hotel's yard. You can buy firewood and snacks from the hotel's café. You can also pre-book a packed picnic backpack when making your room reservation online. During winter, you can rent snowshoes for a few euros from the reception and in the summer, you can rent bicycles. One of the rental bicycles comes with a safety seat for young child, and there is also a bicycle for a child! Helmets are also included in the rental price. Everything is nicer with a full stomach!

The café next to the reception serves both sweet and savory snacks from morning till evening. All our rooms have a minibar (warmer than a normal fridge), so you can keep small snacks in there. There is also a microwave in the reception lobby. The hotel's restaurant, Trattoria Pielinen has a special menu for kids. Would you like to have meatballs or tasty salmon? And top up your dinner with ice cream or chocolate cake!

Stay comfortably

Almost all of our rooms have the possibility of an extra bed. For those traveling with small children, we recommend the standard rooms located in the forest side wing, where the extra beds easily fold out from the wall. For school-aged children and teenagers, the Superior-class room with its own small loft is a comfortable choice. However, the loft has quite steep stairs, so we do not recommend it for very young children. The Junior Suite can accommodate larger families or groups. The rooms in the Karelian village are located in front of the Bomba House, about 300-500 meters from the spa hotel. The Karelian village offers double rooms with additional beds, loft-style family rooms, and some double rooms can be combined with a connecting door. Spa Bomba

Our spa is suitable for both young and older water enthusiasts. There is a separate pool for small children in the pool area, and of course, our little guests will want to try out the other pools as well. Back floaties and floating toys are available to borrow in the pool area. The changing rooms have a changing station and bumbo seats to make the spa visit easier for small water lovers.
