Accessible services
The main entrance of the Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna in Rovaniemi has a sliding bar for barrier-free access to the hotel lobby. From the hotel lobby, there is a sliding bar to the restaurant Frans & Chéri and the banquet and meeting room Mon Amour. Please note that the slide from the lobby to the restaurant is steep and requires an assistant - the hotel staff will be happy to assist you. The Frans & Chérie restaurant has an accessible customer toilet.

Hotel room
The hotel rooms are not accessible. The outer door of the hotel room measures 80 cm. wide from the inner frame. The height of the threshold to the hotel room is 2 cm. The bathroom and toilet door measures 70 cm. wide from the inner frame. The height of the threshold to the bathroom and toilet is 4 cm. The shower room has a 58 cm. wide shower door. A shower chair or shower caddy is available on request. There are no handrails or lowered levels.

Breakfast
On the Frans & Cherie side of the restaurant, access via a sliding entrance.
There is an accessible customer toilet. Breakfast staff will help you to pick up your breakfast items, there are no lowered steps.

Customer sauna and shower room
On the 1st floor of the hotel, the external door of the customer sauna measures 80 cm. wide when measured from the inner frame. Threshold height 2cm. Door width to shower area 78 cm. Width of shower walls in the shower area 87 cm. Door width to sauna area 57 cm. Height of the step for the sauna baths 23 cm. There are no support rails or lowered steps.
