Playroom

The hotel has a playroom for young children, which is best suited for children under 10 years old. The playroom has drawing equipment, a book corner, play equipment and a touch screen game. The playroom is open daily from 9 to 21. Please note that children play in the playroom under parental responsibility. Board games can be borrowed from reception. You can also ask at reception for a night light to borrow for your room.

Outdoor activities and adventure parks

From Angry Birds outdoor park you can find children's slides, swings, jungle gyms and of course the familiar Angry Birds characters. The park is located by the river, within walking distance of the hotel.

Ounasvaara is not only a well-known sports centre, but also a year-round recreation area near the centre of Rovaniemi. In winter, Ounasvaara is the perfect place for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. There is also a chance to experience the thrill of speed on a winter sledge track or try snowshoeing. In summer you can hike on nature trails, speed down a slope on a summer sled track or play golf.

On the other side of Ounasvaara you will find Santasport Sport Centre, where the whole family can get some exercise. There is a possibility to relax in the spa or go bowling.

Adventure Park Huima offers amazing experiences for children and even for adults.

Ranua Wildlife Park is not more than 80 kilometers away from Rovaniemi and it is open every day.

Cultural and scientific centres and museums

Close to the city centre is located Science Centre and Museum Arktikum and House Of Culture Korundi. In the Science Centre Pilke you will get to know Finland's forests through games and other activities and best of all - it's a meaningful way to learn! Each of these centres has its own souvenir shop where you can buy souvenirs to take home.

Santa Claus Village

You get to cross the magical Arctic Circle in Santa Claus Village! There is plenty to do and see and you might also meet Santa Claus.
