Salo also offers experiences for the whole family in the city centre. Salo Sports Park offers a wide range of activities. The green surroundings invite people of all ages to move and relax. The little ones can play in the Family Park, with scaffolding, swings and an accessible play area.

For year-round activities, the whole family can enjoy the Salo swimming pool. The Salo Swimming Pool is located in the Salo Sports Park, right next to the golf course and Salohall. The swimming pool has a children's pool, a therapy pool, an entertainment pool, a cold pool, a diving pool, a racing pool, a gym and a sports room.

There is also a traffic park in the vicinity of the hotel, which is open during the summer. The traffic park is located within walking distance of the hotel, about 500 metres. You can comfortably walk along the banks of the Salon River.

Vuohensaari Camping is located on Vuohensaari, an island off Salo. The seaside scenery includes a camping and camping area, accommodation, a café-restaurant, a nature trail, a children's playground, a beach, a mini-golf course (18-hole course approved by the International Minigolf Federation) and much more to make it worthwhile to stop by or stay longer.

For children and young people, there are swimming beaches and a skate park in the sports park. In winter, there are also maintained skating rinks in the surrounding areas of the centre. Technology enthusiasts can learn about Salo's electronics industry at the Electronica Museum.

Teijo National Park is a great place for families with children. You can walk safely on the marked trails and take a break to grill sausages and admire the nature. The Teijo area also offers various equipment rental services, national park advisory services and guided nature tours. Older children can try "lift cycling" in the Meri-Teijo Bike Park.

In winter, we recommend the Teijo Action Park for families interested in winter sports. A short drive from Salo, free and easy parking right at the foot of the slopes and low-cost lift tickets ensure that skiing is easy even on weekday evenings.

And there's plenty to do in the Teijo villages even after a day on the slopes!

On weekdays, a bus runs from Salo every hour, timetables available from Matkahuolto.
