The Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum, which survived the Great Fire of Turku in 1827, takes you several hundred years back in time. At selected times, artisans work in the workshops, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about traditional crafts. The Luostarinmäki area also has its own post office and two shops. You can buy, for instance, traditional sweets packed in a cone to take with you.
